Be advised this is not your typical Mexican-Americanized flavored restaurant You’ll love the quality of the food, the tortillas are fantastic. I recommend the street tacos, but everything my family and I have tasted is really good. Food is reasonably priced, my family of five typically spend 60-70 and thats with my wife and I having a beer or two.
The carnitas burrito bowl was delicious! The pork had such a better flavor than other chain competitors! It was also a great amount of food for the money. The service was great and the food was done quickly. Taqueria Monarca will be our new grab and go burrito bowl place!
A go to laid back date night location. Food is always good. Staff are always friendly. A tropical chicken taco is a must.
We had lunch at Taqueria Monarcas and tried their Quesabirrias and let me tell you, they are absolutely delicious! The tortillas were perfectly crispy, the birria was tender and flavorful, and the cheese added the perfect gooey touch. The consome for dipping was rich and savory, elevating the entire experience. To top it all off, I was pleasantly surprised with free guacamole and chips! The guacamole was fresh, and the chips were perfectly crunchy. The service was friendly, and the portion sizes were generous. If you’re looking for authentic, flavorful Mexican food, I highly recommend stopping by Taqueria Monarcas! You won’t be disappointed.
If you want consistently amazing food and friendly service, go here. The street tacos here are incredible, highly recommend the pastor & pescado. Highly highly recommend the grilled avocado & pineapple salad, its my go to order. The magonada is my favorite dessert beverage and the people here do it soo well.
I've lived on the Texas/Mexico for over 20 years and this place would be right at home there. Top quality Mexican food, legit, and great service. I had the Al Pastor Alambre plate with cheese recently and it hit the spot!

Best tacos in town! They have so many different and unique taco options, and you have the ability to select a more authentic onion and cilantro topping or a simple cheese and lettuce topping. We haven’t ventured into the more unique meats like beef tongue, but their asada and carnitas tacos are amazing! Plus they do not skimp on the portions. You really feel like you are getting your money’s worth! We also recommend the margaritas!
